The first single from Yr Lovely Dead Moon’s debut, self-titled LP upcoming on Hot Concept, ‘Physical Corpses’ is a four-minute masterpiece of rhythmic, fractured electronics driving a wry and enigmatic spoken-word narrative. A worthy introduction to the project, this album highlights producer-singer-writer Rachel Margetts’ blend of texture and language to hypnotic yet confrontational effect.

Complementing the original, Hot Concept’s own John Loveless rejoins remix production partner Gramrcy for another ‘A Gramrcy & Loveless Mix’. In this instance, they transform YLDM’s ruptured vision into a driving, throbbing electro rework, exclusively engineered to sensually blow minds and speaker stacks. Originally hailing from the North-East of England, singer, songwriter and producer Rachel Margetts recorded over a number of years while travelling and performing within various DIY scenes across Europe.

Both dense and melodic, vulnerable and affirmative, Yr Lovely Dead Moon establishes Margetts among the most promising new British artists in electronic and alternative music
